Host your next event at our stunning tasting room
Nestled in the west hills of the Hood River Valley at the gateway to the Columbia Gorge, Phelps Creek Vineyards offers private guided experiences for groups of every size, style, and interest. Whether your group is exploring the Columbia Gorge appellation for the first time or deepening a lifelong love of Oregon wine, our Estate experiences are designed to connect guests with the land, the wines, and the story behind every bottle. Our Pioneer Vineyard frames every gathering with sweeping views of the estate and valley below.
Each experience includes a dedicated Wine Ambassador and may be held indoors or outdoors. All experiences available during tasting room hours, 11 AM – 5 PM daily.
The Spaces
From an intimate cellar to a fire-lit patio overlooking the Pioneer Vineyard, Phelps Creek Vineyards offers a range of indoor and outdoor spaces for private groups of 7 to 115 guests. All spaces or complete rent out can be reserved during standard or extended business hours.

The heart of the Phelps Creek tasting room — a light-filled, climate-controlled space with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic views of the Pioneer Vineyard. Flexible floor plan, full AV and sound, and a built-in bar make it an effortless setting for guided tastings and private gatherings of any style. Available as semi-private alongside other guests, or reserved as a full floor buyout.

Tucked beside the tasting room, the Library Room is Phelps Creek’s most exclusive space — always booked as a full private buyout, never shared. Temperature-controlled and bathed in warm ambient light, it’s an intimate setting for small groups who want an authentic, behind-the-scenes wine country experience.

Available as a semi-private outdoor setting or a full patio buyout for groups who want the entire space to themselves.

Fully Private — entire estate
Exclusive use of the entire Phelps Creek Tasting Room — Indoor Main Floor, Library Room, Upstairs Lounge, and Outdoor Patio — for groups of 100 to 200+ guests. The Full Buy-out is the ultimate private event setting in the Columbia Gorge, with dedicated staff, full property parking, and the Pioneer Vineyard as the backdrop. Available after 5 PM at $1,000/hour (2-hour minimum, minimum bar fee applies).
