We invite our friends to join Phelps Creek's Friends of the Vine Wine Club. Many customers ask how they can stay in touch with
the vineyard as we progress through the year--the wine club is the answer.
From bud break to bottling, so much happens in a season. Our wine club grants you the insider's perspective by opening the door
to allocated wines, new releases and exclusive vineyard events. Come join us as we prune, thin, tuck, sucker, hedge, harvest, pick,
crush, rack and finally blend and bottle the next vintage.
Joining is free and includes
- 20% off all wine purchases
- 4 bottles of wine shipped 3 times a year
- Automatic allotment of reserve wines and access to older vintages
- Tasting notes and recipes with each shipment
- Member-only events
- Opportunities to schedule private tastings at the vineyard

Wine Club Event
March 13, 2010
Wine Club Pick Up Day at the Winery, 12pm to 3pm
Location: 1930 Hwy 35 Hood River , OR
Wineclub members are invited to pick up their spring boxes at the wine-making facility on Saturday, March 13th, from 12pm to
3pm. Enjoy barrel tasting, cellar tours, and meet the newest addition to our team, cellar rat Melissa Moyer. We'll have some
great appetizers and cheeses to nibble on with great wines to wash them down.
The winery is located at 1930 Hwy 35 in Hood River. Click here for directions. Please RSVP to Nicole@phelpscreekvineyards.com
by March 10th for the winery event.
Our March shipment is always our first look at the efforts of our fall harvest and our line-up of new Pinot Noirs. You will receive
two of each of the following:
2009 Fleur de Roy ($20 bottle/ $15 for wineclub)
The warm growing season and early budbreak of 2009 did not lend itself to Alexandrine Roy's traditional Saignee technique, but
instead employed a direct press method. The ability to adapt during the challenges of the growing season is, after all, the evidence
of a superb winemaker. This rosé shows beautiful fruit notes of white peach, persimmon and tomato with a round mouthfeel and
soft acidity. Finishing light and clean, this wine is beautiful with soft cheeses
and wild game sausages.
2008 Columbia Gorge Pinot Noir ($26 bottle/$20.80 for wineclub)
This lovely, new wine is our latest way to show off our wonderful estate fruit. More than 50% estate grown Pinot Noir is blended
with Pinot selected from the best sites throughout the Columbia Gorge. Notes of fresh, red raspberry are accented by a pleasant,
earthy quality. Bright on the palate with a long, succulent finish, this wine will beautifully accompany rich cuisine.
