The Owner

Bob Morus founded and serves as President and Director of Winegrowing for Phelps Creek Vineyards. He moved to Hood River in 1989 with the expressed goal of raising wine grapes and kids. Today, the estate vineyards consist of 30 acres.

When not tending the vines or overseeing all production aspects, Bob commands a Boeing 777 in international operations for a major airline.

The Winemaker

Alexandrine Roy joins us from Burgundy, France as Director of Winemaking. The fourth generation vigneron  continually amazes our team with techniques steeped in tradition.

Originally tagged to produce a special cuvee from our estate Pinot Noir, her role has expanded to contributions on all aspects of PCV crush.

Irineo Magana has been our Manager of Vineyard Operations for over 18 years.

The quality in the bottle begins with hours of hard work in the field. Irineo's commitment to quality grape production grows from personal pride in witnessing vineyards developing from cuttings to wines.

He coordinates the efforts of three brothers and numerous other workers in the field and winery.



Regional Sales Manager

Jon Wadman handles Regional Sales, which includes wholesale distribution within the Northwest and local Gorge sales.

Jon returns to our team after his international experience of teaching in the Middle East for six months. Many of our wine club members might recognize him from time as a Tasting Room sales associate in Summer '12.

Tasting Room Manager

Toby Morus, who just graduated from the University of Oregon, steps into the role of Tasting Room Manager.

Over the years, many of you have met Toby during events or at the Tasting Room, seeing first hand his passion for our vineyard and operation.  Toby follows in the family's footsteps and leads the Tasting Room team and operations

Amy Martin joins the Phelps Creek team as our Hospitality Coordinator.  

As a White Salmon transplant hailing all the way from Virginia Beach, she brings an extensive culinary background to the table.  Her love for all things food and wine makes her the perfect fit within the Phelps Creek team!

Tasting Room

Brian Robb began his working relationship with Phelps Creek when he first captured our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blocks on camera for the Tasting Room.  There we began to lure him into the world of wine!

Talk to him about his experience shooting numerous World Skiing Racing Championships and the Olympic Winter Games. He's traveled the world producing captivating images!
